NOBPC is a member of APsaA, a professional association that shares values with human rights and civil rights organizations. We believe that as psychoanalysts our shared values include tolerance of difference, seeking emotional truth, empathy and listening, understanding the role of individual and collective trauma, diversity in every sense of the word, and fundamental human equality. While there is healthy debate among us on many issues, we are united in striving to realize these goals both in our work as analysts and in our lives as citizens.
