    • There are many benefits to NOBPC membership: expand your professional network and community, priority registration and discounts to NOBPC events, complimentary PEPWeb subscription, access to NOBPC library, and inclusion in NOBPC referral service.

  • What does NOBPC do?

    • NOBPC offers psychoanalytic training to mental health professionals, educates our community about psychoanalysis through lectures and workshops, collaborates with community organizations such as the New Orleans Film Society, provides consultation to filmmakers and community organizations, and facilitates referrals for psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

  • Do I need to be a member to attend events?

    • NO! Our events are open to anyone interested in psychoanalysis.  However, members are the first to know of upcoming events and can get registration discounts so it pays to be a member!

  • How do I find a therapist?

    • NOBPC offers a confidential referral service for individuals seeking psychoanalysis or psychotherapy.  You can call NOBPC at 504-899-5815 or email us ?? to begin the referral process. A trained clinician will contact you to discuss your situation and then provide you with appropriate referral information.  Or, you can use our on-line member directory.
